Welcome to the PRIME Web Site!
PRIME Consulting Group has information on its many endeavors on this Web site. We are a consulting firm, we do development work, we author books and articles, even publish a free email newsletter. From our main page you can access each of the mini-sites to find the information you are looking for (sort of like Disneyland). Each of the graphics on our main page takes you to a different section within our site.
The Naked PC Newsletter is our free ezine, published every other week with articles, features, tips, products, news, and more all related to making your computing more productive. Join the tens of thousands that make TNPC a part of their email habit. You won't be sorry you did!
T.J. Lee and Lee Hudspeth bring you the book you need successfully upgrade a variety of your computer's components and live to tell the tale. This book will help you achieve the confidence you need to perform your own upgrades, gain valuable insights into how your PC works, and save bucks along the way. Our Absolute Beginner's Guide to PC Upgrades explains what other books omit or overlook, for example, we provide a simple checklist of exactly what tools and resources to have on hand before you perform any PC upgrade.
The Office Annoyances Series are the books we've written on Microsoft Office products and published by O'Reilly and Associates. We have information on the four titles in this series, table of contents listings, reviews, and ordering information. You'll also see pictures of these books rotating on the main site page.
The Annoyance Board is our Web based message board where you can post your favorite annoyance or ask a question. A great resource for anyone working with Office.
Our Resources pages is where you'll find information on our PRIME Utility software add-ons for Word and Excel (both the 97 and 2000 versions), links to the articles we've written for publications like PC/Computing magazine, Office Computing, and WUON, a collection of software freebies we give away, our computer book recommendations, and some links we think no one should surf without.
The Underground Guides for Excel and Office are two more of the many books we've authored (these were published by Addison-Wesley). Besides our own there are several other books in this series we highly recommend.
The Unofficial Guide to PCs was published by QUE. The authors (us) of this great computer book (even if we do say so ourselves) have republished this as an ebook, in PDF format, delivered to your door on a CD disc. Get the straight scoop on purchasing, setting up, optimizing, and maintaining your personal computer from people who've learned all the tricks the hard way in The Book That Should Have Come with Your Computer.
